It features two different corresponding patterns, one on each side. One side depicts a bird (I think its a Magpie or Oriole) with dragonflies swirling around and the other side is a single dragonfly. The dragonfly bodies have enameled red dots which are slightly raised. It is very striking (pun intended ). I believe this was made as a cigarette holder, but it's a wonderful size thats perfect for
