English Transferware Black Plate Embossed & Gilded Gilt Border George Jones Scenic Path Through Mountain Village Blue Willow Marked: Colonial Times by CrownStaffordshire Black Transfer Ware Plate George Jones and Sons Rhapsody Circa 1891 1920 This gorgeous plate depicts a gorgeous scene of a rock path bridge that winds through a village nestled against the mountains on either side. The plate has a stunning embossed border of urns and medallions with a gilt acanthus leaf trim. Absolutely gorgeous detail! Some of the prettiest plates I've seen. The company began operation in c. 1864 at Stoke Upon Trent at
