Georgian Onyx "Demeter" Cameo Brooch navette to General the Honourable CharlesDATE: Georgian, c. 1820 An exceptional onyx cameo brooch dating from the late Georgian era, circa 1820. The subject is a Demeter in profile, white against a black background, with excellent attention to detail. The cameo is set into a 15k gold frame which is itself worth of note, on account of the gorgeous rope twist goldwork.
