Sylvie Esmonin Gevrey-Chambertin, 2021 lager allowing the grapes to ripenThis is made from 45 year old Pinot Noir vines from the lieu dit Les Crais. It is classic old school Burgundy, being quite rich and extracted with vibrant dark fruit aromatics. It is full and supple with mouthwatering fruit and super soft tannins. Unfined and unfiltered. We would pair this with beef bourguignon, or another rich, meaty stew to tackle the fullness of the wine.
