the only thing to note is watermarks on the bottom inside lining but cannot see on outside fabric (see photos)

It's hard to accurately capture the colors but they are definitely not black-and-white

With Mother of Pearl baby handle, this is 2" x 1 3 4". One side of the rattle has the baby's name (Zachry) plus time & date of birth (8 24 1881). Other side has REED & BARTON stamp plus height and weight of baby. WHAT A GREAT VINTAGE FIND! EXCELLENT antique condition minor tiny dents commensurate with age.
